This is a Two Day Course which describes fully to Candidates how the newly issued 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018) is arranged, its purpose and how it should be referenced on a working basis. Candidates will require a copy of BS7671:2018 (available from July 2nd 2018) - although hand-outs and revision material are given during the training.

BS5839 & BS5266: Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting - 25/01/20
This is a Two Day Course which describes fully to Candidates how BS5839 & BS5266 are arranged, their purpose and how they should be referenced & complied with during design, commissioning & on a working basis.
There are a number of different types of Fire Alarm System (Category L, P, M, etc) mentioned within BS5839. This course endeavours to explain the different types of system, where they are utilised and how to comply fully with legislation.

City & Guilds 2391-52: Full Inspection & Testing Training Course - 07/02/20
Whereas in the past delegates would have had to take the 2394 and the 2395 in order to achieve Awards stating that they could carry out both Initial Verification and Periodic Testing, under the new 2391 qualifications the City & Guilds have developed a ‘Combination Course’ in order that the entire spectrum of inspection and testing is be covered under one qualification.
City & Guilds 2391-50: Initial Inspection & Testing - 08/02/20
The 2391/50 is a replacement for the 2392, and aimed at electricians with a limited experience of Inspection & Testing.
Once achieved, delegates would be able to Inspect, Test & sign off their own installations.
Candidates who achieve the 2394 qualification could progress on to the City and Guilds 2395: the Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
